WILL THE ADHESIVE DAMAGE MY WALLS AND EXISTING PAINT?
We use the highest quality self-adhesive paper available.
The adhesive is removable, reusable, and repositionable. It can be easily removed without leaving any residue. It is unlikely to remove paint from a primed wall, applies without wrinkles and does not tear.
When placing your sample on a standard painted wall, make sure the wall has not been painted within the last 40 days. (otherwise the paint or adhesive may come off).
We would love to guarantee that the samples wont peel paint off, but unfortunately we cant do that. We don't know the quality of your walls and the condition of your existing paint.
We have tested many self adhesive papers and completed extensive research to find the most suitable paper for our samples.
We recommend moving the samples around your house, not leaving them in one place for too long. Having said that, we left a sample on our office wall for 3 weeks and it came off with no issues at all.
If your existing paint has been applied well, is fully cured and in good condition, it is unlikely to peel paint off when you remove the sample.
IS THE COLOUR ACCURATE?
Yes. We use two coats of real paint to best represent normal house painting procedure.

The cost per 60cm x 37cm self adhesive removable sample is $11.95.
The cost of a 151cm x 60cm custom sheet is $44.95.
WHAT IF THE PRODUCT I ORDERED IS DAMAGED?
Samples are sent in a hard postage tube for protection. In the unlikely event a sample is damaged during shipping, we will happily send you another one at no cost to you.
HOW ARE THESE SAMPLES DIFFERENT FROM THE COLOUR SWATCHES OR SAMPLES I CAN GET FROM THE PAINT SHOP?
Our colour samples are made using actual paint unlike some of the other samples which are made using ink, tints, printers etc.
They are 20 x bigger than the samples that are currently available.
They are made on material that has a self adhesive backing which is also removable and repositional.
WHAT IF THE COLOUR I WANT IS NOT LISTED ON YOUR WEBSITE?
At present, our range covers the most popular colours based on our research. We will continue to add more colours over time and as trends change.

ARE THE SAMPLES REUSABLE?
Yes. They can be removed and reapplied many times over. This gives you the flexibility to see your chosen colours in different light and different rooms.
WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING COSTS AND HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?
Standard shipping is $12.95. Higher fees apply for Express Post. All postage comes with a tracking number for your peace of mind.
Sampler Packs shipping is $2.95.

The samples are 60cm x 37cm.
Still not big enough? We also sell Sheets as a custom order. These are 151cm x 60cm.
ARE THERE ANY HAZARDS WHEN USING THE PRODUCT?
The samples have been painted with real paint, so you may notice a slight paint odour. If you are sensitive to smell, make sure you have adequate ventilation.
The edges of the samples can get hard from the paint. Be careful when handling the samples to avoid paper cuts.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
We do not offer returns if you order the wrong colour or simply change your mind. We will happily replace or refund an item damaged during shipping. Please see our Returns Policy for more information.
CAN SAMPLES BE PUT ON EXTERIOR SURFACES?
Yes. Samples can be applied both inside and out.
DO YOU OFFER OTHER SIZES?
No, our research shows that these sizes are the best to visualise your wall colour: not too big, not too small.
DO YOU STOCK OTHER BRANDS OF PAINT?

WHAT COLOUR SHOULD I PAINT MY ROOM?
Unfortunately we can’t tell you that. But we can help make sure that the colours you have chosen are going to look great.
There are numerous forums that offer advise regarding colours.
We recommend the following places to start.
CAN I CHANGE MY DELIVERY ADDRESS?
Once the order has been posted, unfortunately we cannot change the address. If you contact us before your order has been sent, it may be possible, depending on the circumstances.
CAN I EDIT MY ORDER?
Generally, once an order has been placed, it is not possible to change. Please contact our support staff as soon as possible and we shall see what we can do.
THE SAMPLE I RECEIVED WAS DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE.
All products are inspected before being posted to ensure they meet our high standards. We pack them in hard cardboard tubing to avoid the likelihood of damage during transit. In the unlikely event that your samples are damaged, please take photographs of the damaged item and contact us immediately, stating the order number. We shall assess the case and where required, refund or replace the items.
THE COLOUR OF THE SAMPLE LOOKS DIFFERENT TO THE IMAGE ONLINE AND / OR THE PAINT COLOUR SWATCH. HAVE YOU SENT ME THE WRONG COLOUR?
The Big Paint Sample is the real colour. It has been painted with real paint from the paint manufacturers. Colour swatches and computer screens will always be slightly different to the real colour.
This is the reason The Big Paint Sample was born.
CAN I RETURN UNUSED SAMPLES?
Unfortunately, we are not in a position to receive returned samples, unless they meet the Returns Policy.
WHERE'S MY PACKAGE?
